At Emergency Water Tanks, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. Because our emergency water storage tanks are large, heavy-duty items, returns are subject to the policy outlined below to ensure safe handling and proper inspection.

Returns Due to Defects or Warranty Claims

If your product arrives defective or develops a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, it may qualify for repair, replacement, or refund under our Limited Warranty.

Warranty-related returns must be approved before any item is sent back. Please do not return any product without authorization.

Eligible Warranty Issues Include:

  • Structural cracks or leaks caused by manufacturing defects
  • Defective components such as spigots, caps, or vents

If only a fitting or accessory is defective, a replacement part will be provided at no cost. In these cases, returning the entire tank is not required.

Non-Defective Returns

Due to the size and nature of emergency water storage tanks, we do not accept returns for non-defective products once they have been used, filled, or installed.

Unused and uninstalled products may be eligible for return only with prior approval. All non-defective returns, the customer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs. Shipping fees from the original purchase are non-refundable..

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.

Due to the size and freight nature of our tanks, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.

Return Authorization & Shipping

If your return or warranty claim is approved, we will provide return instructions. Approved warranty returns may include a prepaid shipping label. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing times vary by payment provider
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

If a replacement is not feasible, a refund or store credit may be issued at our discretion.

Exclusions

Returns and refunds are not available for:

  • Damage caused by misuse, freezing, over-pressurization, or improper storage
  • Damage caused by chemical storage or non-approved uses
  • Cosmetic wear such as scratches or fading
